Stitching Stuff: Week 16 of 2023

Sorry this posting of the linky party is a bit late.  I went to a quilt retreat yesterday and didn't get in till late.  I must be getting old, sewing all day just took it out of me and I overslept this morning.  But I had a great time at the retreat.  Getting ready for the retreat kept me in the sewing room this week, so my stats look really good.

  • 15 minute days/week = 7/7 days
  • 15 minute days/April = 28/29 days
  • 15 minute days/2023 = 98/119 days
  • Success rate = 82.35%

April has been my best month for sewing time so far this year.  So hopefully that means I'm getting a better handle on my retirement schedule.

How did you do this week at finding time to play with fabric, thread or yarn?

I know what you mean - as one gets older it takes longer to recover from anything! be it a long day or forced lack of exercise due to an injury

Great stats for the month! I'm about 3/4 retired, but feel I've lost any grip I had on a schedule lately. But I do spend a lot of time in my sewing room, so it's OK I guess

Retirement definitely helps with the stitching. I have never spent so much time stitching as I have since I retired last summer.

I've never been on a retreat but sitting all day is hard on my shoulders. I thought there would be more moving around and visiting at a retreat. Did you get a lot done?

So glad to hear you had a wonderful time at the retreat and woo hoo! on a very busy week and month as well. I had a wonderful time this week sewing and was able to get a good amount of quilting completed. Thank you for hosting the link party and happy Sunday.
