First up, the January One Monthly Goal was to get Inverted Star sent out for quilting.
All that got done and the box actually made it to the post office. It should come back in a couple of weeks. Fingers crossed this one gets finished before the end of February.
With Inverted Star sent off, I moved on to the second quilt on this year's UFO Challenge, The Christmas Mystery quilt.
Mr. Nutcracker got a face and the backing was pieced. The back has been de-threaded and pressed. It's ready to be shipped out for quilting. The next step is to prep the finished flimsy. That should happen this week. So there's still a chance this one also gets finished in February.
In other stitching, I got a start on this year's Rainbow Scrap Challenge Wild and Goosey blocks.
There's been progress on this year's Bonnie Hunter Mystery, Good Fortune.

I've actually gotten a few more blocks made, but apparently there hasn't been a new photo of that progress.
Lastly, a few more blocks of On Ringo Lake, the current leaders and enders project, have made it to the design wall.

There's been good progress this month on multiple fronts, but I've not made much visible progress towards my 2019 PHD.
All my report shows is one new start.
Fingers crossed there's two off the list by the end of February.

You are making progress on all fronts! Good job! Ir was one of those weeks where several projects got worked on at my house too. Thanks for linking up with Design Wall Monday, Judy
Movement is progress and you are moving forward! It's difficult to see when you're doing thankless jobs like trimming threads from the back of a quilt top, but it is progress. I just know you're gonna meet your goals!
Oh my gosh...I got winded reading all you’ve done, and all you have to show for it on your list is one new start? Good grief. There must be something wrong with your list. Throw that thing away.
Any progress is good and you made a lot of progress which is great! It's always a satisfying feeling to cross off projects from our lists!
I just love your Good Fortune quilt and can't wait to see more of your blocks! Are you going to do the chevron sashings for your ORL or are you going to do something else with your blocks?
It will happen. I got 2 quilts back in January so my UFO list got shorter quickly!
Wow ! You have so many beautiful quilts in the works! I'd have a hard time deciding which one to spend time with if I were you.
Lots of projects are seeing forward movement! Well done!
Always a lot of work to get a quilt cleaned up! Thanks for linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal and congrats on your project!
Nice projects there and good progress. Congrats.
All of your projects are looking great! I especially love the colors of the mystery quilt and the nutcracker in the Christmas quilt.
I think you are doing great!! Love all the quilts you are working on!
You are making great progress on so many projects. Can't wait to see the finishes!
You've made huge progress!!!! Look at how many projects you've moved forward, and two are nearly done!
I think you are off to a great start for 2019. I need to start my spreadsheet for my PHD as well now that I have one finish under my belt.
I really really love your Good Fortune colors. I really wanted to make that quilt, but opted out since I started a ton of projects in Dec.
Hi Kate! I think you've made a lot of progress this month. Inverted Star is one of your UFOs that can be counted when it is returned to you, right? Plus so is the mystery Christmas quilt and there was definitely movement or advancement there as well. I think you're doing great! ~smile~ Roseanne
Two quilts sent (or just about) to quilting is definite progress. Love the deep dark reds in your RSC blocks. This year I have decided to participate in the RSC as well. I am looking forward to being part of the rainbow sisters :-)
Whoohoo! Two quilts ready to be quilted. Were either UFOs? I really like the Christmas quilt and the new Wild and Goosey blocks.
Well done on achieving your January goal. You certainly look set to get a couple of February finishes!
I like your design of "Mr. Nutcracker got a face and the backing was pieced"
Have a great day
