To Do List for the Week of 11/07/2023

It's a long drive from Southern Texas to Northern Oklahoma.  I got home early evening on Monday.  It was a very nice girl's weekend. But now it's time to catch up on a few things.  I'm behind on blog reading and replying to comments, fingers crossed that catching up isn't that hard to do.  Getting back to the sewing room is on my list for today too.  I have a long to do list for this week. Before getting to that, I should review last week's much shorter list.

To Do List for 10/31/2023

1. Macaron Mystery: Finish label, binding, stitch on - progress

2. Melodic Mystery: Send out for quilting ✔

3. Chilhowie: Continue as leader and enders

Two out of three isn't bad considering there was just one day of sewing room time before leaving for Texas.  There was some hand stitching while I was visiting, but not a lot. We were busy girls.

This week's list is much longer to make up for the very short list last week.

To Do List for 11/07/2023

1.  Macaron Mystery (Meadow Mist Designs): Finish hand stitching binding to back

I was able to get the better part of one side stitched and turned one corner while in Texas.  It shouldn't be too difficult to finish it up this week.

2. Malted Mystery (Meadow Mist Designs): Finish clue 4, start clue 5

3. Indigo Way (Bonnie Hunter): Decide on fabrics for mystery

4. Scrappy Butterflies (self-designed): Find backing fabric

5. Rhododendron Mystery (Bonnie Hunter): Finish sewing blocks and sashing together

6. Wild and Goosey (Bonnie Hunter): Make 2 orange blocks

7. Chilhowie (Bonnie Hunter): Continue as leader and ender project

It's a long list for this week and I doubt I get to all of them. If not, then there is always next week.  Linking up with The Quilt Schmilt: For the Love of Fabric for To Do Tuesday

I'm glad you had such a nice weekend; welcome home. You have a long list, but they all look like fun and like they would be satisfying parts of each project. Have fun working through your list!

I'm hoping for some time back in the sewing room later today too. Last week it was work getting in the way, the weekend was really busy with other fun, and this week I have too many appointments.

But the sewing will be waiting patiently for us when we do get back to it.

Yes, it's a long drive! You still made good progress on your list though!

Happy Tuesday, Kate. I am so glad you made it home safe and that you had a wonderful time with your dear daughter. I hope that you have got a bit of rest after the drive and have got all of those "back home " chores completed. You have an wonderful array of projects to work on this week. I wish you a fabulous and productive week. Hugs.

Hope you had a great time visiting Grad Girl over the weekend! Looks like it won't be long until Macaron Mystery is finished. Good luck with your list this week. It's good to have a list, even if you don't get to everything!

I remember that drive, and it is long. We used to drive from Kingwood on Highway 59 (now 69) over to I-45 then go through Dallas on 75 on up to just south of Tulsa. I just looked at Bonnie's fabric requirements for the indigo mystery and look forward to seeing your pull. It will make a big quilt!

I agree with Nann -- you do a great job rotating/working on your UFOs. And you valiantly go forward with your favorite mystery quilts -- Bonnie's and Cheryl's mystery. I started doing Cheryl's mystery quilts last year because I liked the ones you had done. I'm hoping to make some progress on my clue 5 this coming week. Good luck with your list.
