We had temperatures in the 80's for both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, it certainly didn't feel like a typical Xmas holiday. Hope your holiday was full of family and fun. Ours certainly was.
It's week 52 of 2021, so this will be the last stitching stuff post for the year. I like to close out my stitching year on December 31st, so I'll have the end of 2021 and the beginning of 2022 in next week's post. My stitching week didn't go so well. I spent all of last weekend working on company reports, went to bed feeling really crappy last Sunday. Woke up to a fever and with a number of Covid symptoms on Monday morning. Thankfully it wasn't Covid, but I was pretty sick till Thursday. All I did was sleep (and blow my nose) for most of last week. Thankfully I was feeling almost normal by the time Christmas Eve rolled around. But that didn't help the stitching report much.

Have fun and relax stitching the butterfly, Kate.
Thanks for hosting 15 minutes to stitch!
Have a Happy and Healthy New Year!
Glad you are feeling better now. Your SIT did a great job on the tea towels for her grandmother! So nice to give a new receive hand-made gifts, sewn with love in every stitch.
Sounds like you had a nice time with family. Your daughter's stitchery looks great! I'm glad you didn't have covid but being sick is no fun not matter what it is. Happy stitching!
SIT's stitching is very pretty. Your butterfly is very pretty. So sorry you weren't feeling well for so long. Enjoy your stitching.
glad you didn't have covid- isnt' it something when we get sick now for the last two years we think first - is it covid?
It was great weather here too and well be for the rest of the week- how strange for late December - I hope the rest of the winter will be mild after that horrible long cold spell we had last February
Your butterfly is going to be so pretty when it is done!
The blue butterfly is beautiful!
And the gifts your daughter made are so thoughtful... that strawberry stitching is amazing!
Such fabulous projects. Such a darling butterfly and your daughter did a beautiful job on the dish towels. Such great gifts. Have a lovely day and happy stitching. Thank you for hosting the link party too.
Beautiful projects! Hope you have a Happy New Year, and Happy Stitching!
Hope this final week of the year is relaxing and rewarding with rejuvenating time stitching. The handwork of both of you and SIT is so lovely! Well done.
The butterfly is so pretty. How awful to be sick at this time, although there is no good time to be sick. There is an awful cold going around, and I hope you recover quickly. Our weather was weird here too, first it was really cold and then it was in the 50-60s for Christmas and today. I was able to rake up the leaves at least.
Hope you are feeling better and have time for a break over the festive season.
80 degrees!! thats almost spring!
I sure hope you are feeling better .. so sorry!
Much warmer than normal here too - with lots of grey skies and rain over the last few weeks. I am hoping for some snow soon! Glad you are feeling better and hope you’ve had lots of good stitching time this week. Love the towels SIT made, she has done such a lovely job with her embroidery.
