Kate's Choice is up on the design wall, well at least most of it is. The plan for the last couple of years has been to use this project to learn to quilt with my walking foot. I finally made some progress there.
The top row and half of the second row are quilted. It's hard to see in this photo, but blocks are quilted with 3 nested squares. It's clearer in this photo.
I've discovered the quilting isn't hard, just time consuming. The plan is to get back to this project later in the week once the guild BOM blocks are done. It definitely won't be finished this month, but hopefully by the end of May it will be done or close too.
This was my Chookshed challenge for April. For once I actually made good progress on that challenge. Also linking up with my typical Monday linky parties: Design Wall Monday and Patchwork & Quilts.

I really love your Kate's Choice blocks. I like the variety of blocks as well as the colors. Glad you weren't flooded up your way. We are in for "very heavy rain" on Wednesday - we shall see if that happens.
I think your quilting looks great! Anything the requires lots of starts and stops and burying threads does take a bit more time, but I think the motif you chose is going to be fantastic for all your blocks.
We had a rainy day on Friday - it was good for this dry area! Your quilting is looking great! It is definitely time consuming, but hopefully will result in a finish that you're pleased with.
That's fun to see all of those blocks together!
stay dry!!
Good work on your April challenge!
Yay! Kate's Chocie is up ! It was one of my favorites that you are working on . The colors just speak to me. We had a bit of rain last Friday and was expecting some Saturday , but it cleared up. Have a good week, Kate. Hugs.
The quilting looks good! I love the colors in those fabrics. Kind of untraditional, and it works!
Love the colour combinations in your Kate's Choice blocks.
Your quilting is perfect, those squares are lovely. Love your blocks too, pink and green is fun together. Thank you for sharing and linking up, and sorry for the bad weather.
