To Do List for the Week of 04/22/2025

Not feeling well definitely slowed down my week on several fronts.  I barely got in my 15 minutes on the days I felt really bad, so I didn't do so well on my to do list even though it was pretty short.

To Do List for 04/15/2022

1. 2025 SAHRR:  Finish quilt top prep, mail to Trudy - progress

2. 2025 Guild BOM: Cut fabrics for June blocks - progress

3. Kate's Choice: Finish cutting batting, start quilting ✔

4. Old Town: Work on blocks at late night sew

At least there was progress on every item. My goal most weeks is to just keep projects moving and I did that. So it wasn't the worst week, just not the best.  This week's list is going to look pretty much the same.

To Do List for 04/22/2025

1. 2025 SAHRR (Quilting Gail): Mail to Trudy

I finished all the prep work, but the respiratory thing way laid my trip to the post office. It should go today since I'll be out running errands later today.

2. 2025 Guild BOM: Finish cutting fabrics & start constructing June blocks

All the fabrics for the inverted star block have been cut, so all that's left is the six sawtooth stars I'll need for June.

3. Kate's Choice: Continue quilting blocks

I've finished row 1 and am just over halfway on row 2.  I picked a pretty easy quilting motif of nesting squares. For many of the blocks I can use the seams as guides, for others I've had to mark.  They aren't perfect by any means, but I'm pretty happy with how it's going.  I probably won't get this completely finished this month, there are at total of 30 blocks to quilt  (8 of those are quilted).  I'm hopeful that it will be finished before the end of next month.  That works for me.

4. Old Town (Bonnie Hunter): Work on blocks at late night sew

This is my project bag with all the completed block components. Clues 1, 3 and 4 have been completed.  I continue to work on the large number of 4 patches for clue 2 and the square in square blocks for clue 5.  Late night sew is scheduled for tonight. I'm hoping to finish clue 5 and get a start on finishing clue 6.

That's my list for this week. Good luck with your own to do lists this week.

Yay for your SAHRR headed to the post office! The quilting on your Kate's Choice blocks looks great - I like that design. Looks like you're making good progress on all of your goals!

Happy Tuesday, Kate. Even just a few minutes a day moves projects along. Looks like a great list of goals to work on this week. The quilting looks great on Kate's Choice . I like your project bag. It looks like it holds a lot. Happy quilting.

Sounds like even with feeling under the weather last week you really set yourself up to get a lot accomplished quickly this week. It's great to see your quilting progress!

other than my evening quilting I am barely getting 15 minutes a day either on things. I did glue baste items on two borders and hope to stitch on one while the evening news is on

You are making great progress after your health setback! I'm making up for no 15-minute days with constant sewing to finish a wedding quilt. Procrastination rules in my sewing room these days. ;)

Bummer about feeling under the weather. But you succeeded very well on forward progress. I am trying to not inundate myself with lots of goals these days. I like your idea of four and move them forward. Hopefully I remember that at the end of the week and will follow your lead.
