Week 26 of Stitching and De-Stashing

It's been a nice weekend.  We got to hang out with the Scientist in Training and some of my family. We didn't do much, it was too hot to want to be out and about much. Still we had a great time.  So no sewing room time yet this weekend, but I'll remedy that this afternoon.  But the handwork that got done during all the visiting still counts as 15 minutes of stitching for the day.

It was another good week for finding time to stitch.  Though a couple of nights all I managed was 15 minutes.

15 minutes stitching days/week = 7/7 days
15 minutes stitching days/June = 30/30 days
15 minutes stitching days/2018 = 171/181 days
Success rate = 94.48%

Progress is being made during all the minutes, I'm hoping at some point that starts showing up as finishes.  You can link up below if you'd like to share how well you did at finding time to stitch.

There's not much to report on the stash management.

Fabric used this week:  0.51 y
Fabric used in 2018:  24.97 y
Fabric added in 2018:  18.91 y
Net fabric out for 2018:  6.06 y

A little out and nothing in. So that still makes for a good week.  Linking up with QuiltPaintCreate for the weekly stash report.

There probably will not be any more handwork this weekend, but there was just a little bit of progress on the butterfly panel made yesterday.

If I'm ever going to finish this panel, I really need to work on it more.  Maybe it will make it to the quilt plan for 2019.  Linking up with Kathy's Quilts for Slow Stitching Sunday.  Wishing Kathy and all the Canadian bloggers a Happy Canada Day!

That's it for me this week.  I'm hoping for a nice afternoon of stitching in the sewing room.  We're off work till Thursday, so I'm hoping this will result in a couple of finishes early in July.  Now it's time to link up on how's it going on your end with finding those precious minutes to stitch.

My grandmother used to do cross stitch quilts with printed panels. I have seen a few bloggers back into this type of project. Hope you have a relaxing time with your stitching today.

Your butterfly cross stitch is looking great! It's always good to have some kind of hand stitching project ready to go. Hope you get lots of time in the sewing room today!

I have several cross stitch projects from my youth and before-children days that have recently resurfaced. Trying to figure out where to hang them all now. Good memories.

You found minutes, and you used them, that's the important thing. You have a lot of projects going on, so it spreads the finishes out. =)
