As far as Rainbow Scrap Sewing goes, I'm all caught up on the Squared Away blocks.
Squared Away Sampler designed by Mari (The Academic Quilter) and Angela (Soscrappy) |
The reds look a little dull in the photograph, but they are actually very vibrant up on the design wall. Maybe I'll take some time this weekend to put the whole set of blocks back up on the design wall and see if I can come up with a setting plan.
Linking up over at Soscrappy for this week's Rainbow Scrap Challenge post and linking up with Oh Scrap over at Quilting is More Fun than Housework on Sunday. Happy stitching this weekend.

I love the idea of a NBS day! I hope you get to spend yours doing just that. I plan to spend most of the day in the sewing room too.
Your red blocks look great! I really like the background fabric you're using. Wishing you lots of sewing therapy today!
YES I need a NBS day too... let's do this!
Yay! Enjoy your NBS day. The blocks are looking great!
I hope you have a great day!
Great blocks. I love how you used a white with red print for the background(s)!
What a great feeling to feel all caught up on a project--good for you--and they are very pretty blocks at that--I have always loved 'red' and usually have red in my kitchens!!!
enjoy, di
Stitching is great therapy! I'm glad you can take a whole day to recharge with fabric. Your blocks are looking great :)
Recharging with your RSC scraps sounds like a GREAT plan!!!
I like that term!! enjoy your NBS day!!!
Nice reds! Love how the corners are gonna come together into a square.
I love your red blocks! I love mine! I'm wondering what August will bring too!
Your blocks look great!
Your blocks turned out great. I'm sure they will look great in the finished quilt.
I agree, your blocks look wonderful. It was nice to have another easy block so we could all get caught up. Thanks for sharing yours with Oh Scrap!
I love your Squared Away blocks and how Mari's pattern this month looks round when you step back from it.
Nice block. And, wow I could see that one making a dent in smaller amounts of fabric. Hum, maybe a full strip. Hope the week is less stressful. Ugh, who wants changes to programs?
Love your red 'squared away' blocks, perfect for teis RSC each month. And, your background fabric is great!(I need to chack back, but are you using the same neutral for all your blocks?)
oops... this RSC
Hope you had a great NBS day! Love your red blocks!
