Last night was a very easy evening. That's good, all of three of us were tired from our late evening due to the basketball game on Monday. I did some catching up on blog reading and replying to comments. Not completely caught up, but getting there. The computer got shut down a little after 8 and I managed about an hour and a half in the sewing room. I finished cutting out block 12 of the Buck-a-Block project and sewed along all the lines on the Thangles, but didn't get the HSTs cut out. In the process of sewing the Thangles, I also finished another block for the purple and yellow scrap quilt (a leaders and enders project).
I also started sewing on the binding to another quilt. It's been a while since I've finished a queen size quilt, they are so bulky! That wrestling match ended the evening's sewing.
Six more days in the month, so I'm halfway there. I'm pretty pleased with the progress I've made so far. I'm finding that the evenings I don't have something planned, a conscious decision has to be made that at a given time I'm heading up stairs. It's just too easy to let the entire evening pass by spending time on the computer or with a book. Not that either of those are bad things to do, it's just that I do want to finish more quilt projects this year. I guess in the end it's about balancing my time and being conscious of what I'm spending it on.
