Happy 2023! I had to think about how to label this post. It's the first day of the new year, but the stitching dates reported are for the last week of 2022. At any rate, I had a pretty good week on the stitching front.
- 15 minute days/week = 6/7days
- 15 minute days/Dec = 19/31 days
- 15 minute days/2022 = 201/365 days
- Success rate = 55.07%
It was definitely not the year I had planned. My goal was to stitch for 75% of the days in 2022, so that's definitely a missed goal. My 4 month absence from the sewing room was certainly the cause. It's not my worse year ever though. My worst year had a 52.3% success rate. So I'll be happy that 2022 wasn't the new low.
Next Sunday will be week 1 of 2023. For now, please link up and share how you did on the stitching time you had in the last week of the 2022.

55% is great, and it leaves room for improvement this new year ;)
Happy New Year Kate!
Happy New Year, Kate! I love starting a new year with a clean slate. You've had some major changes in your life this year, and that is certain to affect your numbers.
a little time almost every day and you will get your projects done
Life just has it’s own ideas about goals. To me 55% is a great result! Here’s to a terrific 2023!
Beautiful new 2023 Button! I added it to my Quilters' Challenges list ;))
Happy 2023 and hope that this year brings you less stress and more stitching time :)
Best wishes for a better year this year!
Happy New Year , Kate. I think you can consider 2022 a success. You certainly were busy and an inspiration. Wishing you the most productive and happy new year. Happy quilting
I'm planning more time for myself in 2023 and hope to be able to get back to joining your challenge again. I think I have the all time low. I didn't sew a single day of 2022.
55% is a great number! I'm going to try again this year, after not doing very well in anything last year.
I’m impressed with your percentage considering the year it was! 😉
Hi Kate, I've started trying to hand-stitch every day but I'm not sure if that will work into a routine or not. It seems that the best time (as in not getting interrupted) is in the evening, but I'm not always up to it, so we'll see. Thanks for hosting. Have a great week!
