The first order of business was to finish off the label for Bejeweled.
This is the label, minus the personal message. Drama Teen asked me to remove that before posting. DT also renamed the quilt. The new moniker is a take off on the recipient's name. I think it fits the quilt. The label has been printed, soaked and rinsed. It will be dry by the time I get home tonight. The binding is all made, so that should get attached this evening. Hopefully that means another finish before the end of the month.
Once the label was finished off, I got back to work on the last graduation quilt.
I've got a good start on the friendship stars that make up the third border. Only one of the stars is completely sewn together, the remaining four are in various stages of assembly. I like how it's coming together. More importantly, so does Drama Teen.

That's a beautiful part of Arkansas. Glad you could enjoy some time off.
I love that text background you're using on the friendship stars. It's going to be a stunning quilt!
It looks like y'all all enjoyed a good spring break (sinus crud notwithstanding -- glad that wasn't a lasting thing). And you even got in some sewing! Can't argue with that! :)
WOW............
Nice work on the next quilt. I really like your background fabric. How much of the Constitution will you be putting into the quilt?
Sounds like a fun weekend! The friendship stars in red and blue with that newsprint background are going to be great for your First Amendment quilt!
Your labels are great!! Sounds like a wonderful weekend! I have Spring Break coming up next week and can't wait to spend it with our grand guy and a visit to my daughter's and son-in-laws. :)
Glad DT is happy with the latest quilt. Love the label as well.
It sounds like you and DT had a very fun weekend away.
Your First Amendment quilt is looking great, and the label for Bejeweled is beautiful!
Glad you had a pleasant spring break. I haven't been to Eureka Springs in decades. The First Amendment quilt is a great idea! (I'm on the Freedom to Read Foundation board.)
Isn't it always lovely to get home after being away?! I love your labels - I really am going to have to explore them more this year. I like how the next quilt is progressing!
Your label is beautiful! Labeling is something I need to work on, I avoid making them at all costs and then when I do have to make them, they are just handwritten on some white fabric.
That's a great start to that one! And the label is very pretty - you're doing a great job on finishing off these quilts for DT.
