Last week was Fall Break for Kiddo. She had 3 days out of school. We had great plans for the long weekend, but after a mix up with the volleyball schedule, an unexpected business trip for me and an out of nowhere assignment for My Guy, we weren't sure there would be any plans. However, we did manage to cobble together a short family trip where we:
Looked at big rocks
Climbed into the big rocks
Checked out one of Jesse James' hideouts.
And photographed the fall foliage.
So the rocky start to Fall Break ended up being a rocky end too. But in the end we all had a great time.

jesse james! can't get any better than that -- he cut a pretty wide swath across the midwest -- he's even been rumored to have hung out here in the frozen tundra! ... love the fall colors.
Those rocks look like parts of the Australian bush. How cool to see where Jesse James hid when he was on the lam !
