Foto Finish - Summer Fun

It's summer so you expect hot in Oklahoma, but it's typically not this hot for so long.  We got a break yesterday in the 100 degree weather, it was only 94.  However, today they are forecasting near record heat, 104.  So our plans are not to have fun in the sun, but to stay out of it today.  So this week's Foto Finish comes from last year.

Last year we spent the first week of Kiddo's summer vacation in Savannah, Georgia.  These fountains were in a park near the river.  This was our last day in Savannah, we were heading back to Atlanta later that afternoon. Kiddo took the opportunity to cool off before lunch.

That's it for me today.  Check out more summer fun over at Cat Patches.

We have a fountain like this in Portland. It's a fun gathering place in summer. Looks like she was enjoying herself. You have ny sympathy with the heat. I lived in Phoenix for three years.

Great way to cool off. I hate this heat but it is just something to get thru every summer :) Stay cool this weekend.

Great picture - we are in the midst of a winter storm at the moment - wind, rain and cold.

There's nothing like taking the opportunity to cool down on a hot summer day. Looks like kiddo had fun!

A lovely photo and a great way to cool off.

Since it is only 18*C (64*F) here and the wind makes it seem much cooler, I can only dream of balmy summer days!
