I've spent the week in Texas hanging out with My Girl and her kitty cat. I brought the sewing machine, but with the schedule we've kept, it has been just easier to work on my embroidery project rather than drag out all the sewing machine stuff. But one way or the other, I did get my sewing time in.
- 15 minute days/week = 7/7 days
- 15 minute days/June = 26/27 days
- 15 minute days/2026 = 175/178 days
- Success rate = 98.31%
I made good progress on my embroidery project and a bit on Lupine and Laughter. I got to spend a lot of time with my daughter, which was the point of the trip. I hope to get a bit of sewing time in before I have to load up the car this evening. I'll head home tomorrow.
Have you had a good week in the sewing room?

Great numbers, portable projects are the best while visiting family! Have a safe trip home. Thank you for the link party and the motivation.
How wonderful that you got to spend the week with your girl!
Sounds like you've had a good week with your girl - there's not much better than that! Embroidery is a good travel project. I've had a good sewing week with time to just play with scraps and make a little table topper, so that feels good. Safe travels home tomorrow!
How nice to be able to spend some time with your daughter. You've been making steady progress now for weeks. Yay!!
Spending time with your daughter is the best, right? I love any time I get with mine. The sewing can wait, although I'm glad you were able to sneak some in!
I guess you are driving today. Hope you have safe travels, and give me a wave toward the east as you approach the Red River! :)
Have a safe journey home Kate!
It’s good to hear you got a break to spend time with your girl and her cat. Great stats, too!
Spending time with your daughter sounds like the best week ever. I am so happy you have had a wonderful and busy time with your girl, Kate. Safe travels home. Hugs.
