I did much better this week on working in a few minutes to stitch here and there.
15 minutes stitching days/week = 7/7 days
15 minutes stitching days/December = 17/22 days
15 minutes stitching days/2018 = 331/356 days
Success rate = 92.98%
I'm still on track to end my year with a better than 90% success rate with stitching every day. Just one more week and it will be time to start fresh with a new year.
I managed to get the binding sewn to the front of the Halloween Mystery quilt while the Scientist in Training was wrapping gifts (my cutting table doubles as gift wrap central during the holidays)
I've turned one corner and are quickly closing in on the next. It does seem to be a bit strange to be stitching on a Halloween quilt during the Christmas holiday season, but getting it finished now, means it will be ready for next fall. Linking up with Kathy Quilts for slow stitching Sunday. There will be more slow stitching today for sure.
The only fabric out this week was the binding for the Halloween Mystery.
Fabric used this week = 0.29 yards
Fabric used in 2018 = 42.17 yards
More in than out for 2018
I'm way off my fabric usage goal for the year. Hopefully 2019 will be a better year on the stash management front. Linking up Quiltpaintcreate for the weekly stash report.
So how did your stitching week go?

Being ready for Christmas and some binding to hand stitch...sounds perfect!
I put the finishing stitches in a table topper binding on the way to the party yesterday. That's cutting it too close!
You did really well getting some stitching in almost every day. I am doing well to get some in on Sundays during football season.
Good for you having everything done for Christmas and still finding time for yourself. Have a wonderful holiday.
I almost have gifts wrapped. Some for DH and if I wrap the stocking ones. We shall see.
I have been sewing because I needed a for small things for the family. That allowed me to sew and work on getting over my 300 yards of fabric used this year. Yeah!!!
Merry Christmas
My cutting table doubles for gift wrapping too. I love that backing for your Halloween quilt. Maybe it’s the Nightmare Before Christmas quilt.
Congratulations on a good week. You got so much done! A good thing about working on a Halloween quilt is that you don't feel pressured to get it done fast. We use my cutting table for wrapping presents too. I even have a rotary cutter dedicated to paper cutting only. lol
I am so impressed that your presents are wrapped and you have found time to sew. I haven't started wrapping. My daughter used to wrap presents too, and she still does it when she comes, but now I have to wrap my own presents. We are going to meet up at my brother's house for the gathering. I make her buy me a gift to compensate!
No matter what the season is, a finish feels good! Hope you enjoyed some stitching time today, and have a wonderful holiday with your family!
Binding is my favourite! Enjoy!
And make everyone else wrap the gifts! LOL
Merry Christmas!
My cutting table is also the gift wrapping station - I got mine all cleaned up the other day so now I can get back to some sewing! Looking forward to some fun projects in 2019!
