There was a bit of sewing interspersed with all the errands. I finished one of this month's yellow/gold Squared Away blocks.

I really love these golds with the brighter yellow in the back ground fabric. The second block is partially assembled, the fabrics for the third block are selected, but haven't been cut into parts yet. At least there's been some progress and I'm not an entire month behind.
That's all the scrappy goodness I have to show off this week. Sashing continues on the Vintage Dresses and hopefully I'll have the center assembled and ready to show off on Monday.
Linking up with Angela over at Soscrappy for this week's Rainbow Scrap Challenge. Linking up on Sunday with Oh Scrap.

Yep, I like your yellow and gold block too. We were surprised to learn our licenses are good for 8 years. Even for me as a senior! Yikes or amazing, I’m not sure which one.
Your block looks great! Good thing you remembered to renew that license or you would have had to take another day. Our licenses are good for 8 years, and you can register your car for up to 4 years at a time. I saw a "22" sticker the other day.
Yes....o happy sunshiney block for sure. :) :) Happy sewing this weekend to ya!
That's such a pretty block, Kate! Hope you get to enjoy some more yellow in your sewing room this weekend!
Lovely block, those yellow gold fabrics are very pretty
The yellow is beautiful. Good for you to remember -THat would have been a pain!!
I love your scrappy golds! This month's block has been my favorite so far - can't wait to see what's next!
Boy glad you remembered 'why' you took the day off at 4pm any later and it probably would of been too late--!! Love that bright yellow block--I think I am doing mine too bland this year--oh welll!!!
enjoy, di
Standing in line at the DMV is not much fun, but it is good to have it done. Love the yellow fabrics in your block. So happy!
Beautiful block!
That is probably the prettiest yellow block I’ve ever seen! And way to knock out those errands. They almost seem never-ending at this time of year, don’t they?
Yummy yellows, bright and fresh!
Yes....o happy sunshiney block for sure. :) :) Happy sewing this weekend to ya!

Such a bright and cheerful block in the lovely sunny yellows you chose, I especially like how you chose the white fabric with the tiny yellow flowers for the background, it works so well and is a lovely change to a plainer background.
Our driver’s licenses are good for eight yars. Last time I renewed it, I realized I’d be 68 before I had to renew it again. Yikes.
YELLOW/gold in triplicate in this Squared Away block... NICE!!!
Love your yellow block, hat standing in line at the BMV. They have it set up in Indiana now that you only have to go every other time and can renew by mail every four years - I love it!
Beautiful block and that background fabric is perfect! Thanks for sharing with Oh Scrap!
What a beautiful star! I like the pale yellow flowers as background!
A drop of golden sun brightens everything!!!
beautiful star!!!
I'm with you on loving the golds and the bright yellows!
