Yesterday was catch up day. We stayed in a hotel over the Christmas holiday. Not sure if it was the inability to manage the room temperature (it was either freezing or burning up) or the sheets that would slide off the bed so that you couldn't keep the covers over you. Or if there was just something in the air. None of us slept all that well and each morning we all woke up feeling pretty crappy. The lack of sleep finally caught up with all of us yesterday. There was a lot of napping going on all over the house.
All of that just to say there wasn't a lot of progress on Allietare. I did get in a couple of hours in the sewing room late in the evening. So I managed to get a start on clue #3 then.
Clue 1 is just about half way finished as there are now 100 HSTs up on the design wall.
There was also some progress on Clue 2, but not enough to warrant a photo. I started cutting the pieces for Clue 4. Clue 5 has been downloaded, but hasn't been printed yet.
Now that I'm all caught up on my sleep, I'm hoping to get in some significant stitching time in the sewing room today. Assuming we keep power all day. We are under a winter weather storm warning. It's sleeting at the moment. Hopefully that will turn to snow soon and we won't see any flickering lights today.
That's it for me this week. I'm linking up with Bonnie's Part 5 post today, as well as Patchwork Times' Design Wall Monday and Love, Laugh, Quilt's Making Monday.

Brr, snow. We've had unseasonably warm weather - I don't even want to think about snow!
Hopefully you will get a good day's sewing, seeing progress on a project is so rewarding.

I don't know if the winter cold temperatures...but I have been very tired too....yesterday I was more productive on the couch resting and napping than anywhere else.. Got a second wind and started to quilt...a needle broke...I put it off to today! LOL!! Been sleeping alot....and sewing alot...a good vacation if ya ask me :)
We've had freaky weather here in New England too..still waiting for our 1st snowfall!...your units are so pretty.
Getting caught up on sleep is more important than getting caught up on Allietare! It has been usually warm and wet here this week. Feels more like May than December.
Hotels tend to rob people of sleep unless they are dead tired. There is nothing wrong with spending a Sunday napping...it is a day of REST!
I hope you get all the sewing time you want, and no power outages! Best wishes for 2016
That's too bad...I never sleep very well in a strange bed. That's one good reason for RV travel.
Very interesting clues. Getting caught up on sleep is the best feeling!
Wonderful colors, hopefully you get some sewing time in. Very cold up here but no bad storms.
Love your comment that you were more productive on the couch! I love productive couch time myself!
enjoy your sewing time. I hope you get done what you want -- whether it is napping or sewing. I'm all for a good nap as needed.
Catching up on sleep is more important - the rest will follow.
That is looking good. I haven't paid a lot of attention to Allietare colors on other blogs, but I like yours well enough that I'm going to download the clues for a someday quilt.
I can totally relate to the lack of sleep over Christmas. Now that you are rested, I hope you keep power so you can get some stitching done.
I never sleep well in a hotel between the temperature and the light! I like it dark, and in the winter we sleep cold.
We lost power briefly and have a dangerously slick coating of ice, but an 1" of rain beforehand looks nothing like the 6-8" of snow we had predicted!
That red is lovely! Happy New Year.
Beautiful fabrics! I particularly like the red one.
Have fun with that mystery!
Too bad abouT your accomodation, I have been very tired since Xmas day the lead up was pretty full on and I managed a day if nothing but reading on Boxing Day. Mo and I hit the sales yesterday but I just wasn't into it she was happy to spend my money though and some of her Xmas cash. Today I'm tired again so a sleep in maybe in order we are heading for a heat wave with over a week of nothing lower than 35c so we will be keeping by the pool and aircon
A melhor saída é seguir em frente com motivação.
Feliz Ano Novo

You are making a nice dent in the job. I'm glad I did not tackle such a huge project. Love the photo of the white lights on the trees. Sorry you had to recover from the vacation.
Ugh - I hate it when a hotel bed just doesn't work! I hope your catching up on sleep now, as well as sewing. I'm still waiting patiently for the reveal and pondering fabric.
