The only stitching that happened was on my long term embroidery project.
The set of leaves in the corner and the words in the corners are what got stitched. I'm more than half way done. Not sure how much more I'll finish this year. It was nice to sit and stitch while watching Netflix and waiting for Grad Girl to get home from work. This is the first time I've touched embroidery this year. I always forget how much I enjoy it.
I checked my email once I got home. The Guild meeting is tomorrow night. Which means I need to get the BOM block for October finished between now and then. I'm pretty sure that's not what I was working on before I left, but that's definitely what I'm working on when I get back to my sewing room!
Linking up with Patchwork & Quilts for the first time in a few weeks.

So you and Queenie watched Netflix in the new apartment - how fun! That's a pretty piece you're working on. How nice to look forward to another trip to see Grad Girl. Even if it is long, at least it shouldn't be quite as hot.
Congrats to GG on her new job and new digs! Good to have handwork for odd moments.
I've been feeling much the same way since we got home - what was I working on?! Glad you had some time to pull out those beautiful butterflies and get some stitches in them. Good luck getting those blocks ready to share at the guild meeting!
That is a gorgeous butterfly you have worked there, Kate!
it is nice to have another visit already planned to look forward to with your daughter and to get back into routine now
She'll be somewhat settled in when you drive to deliver the 'stuff' next month. It's always fun to spend time with a daughter.
I wish you a lovely day working on the October block, Kate. Your butterfly embroidery is looking amazing. It is so good to hear that you will be visiting Grad Girl next month. Hugs.
Welcome home! I know that feeling…now where was I? Your embroidery project is beautiful.
