Row 6 is all quilted. The next step is to trim off the extra batting.
Trimming started with row one and I got as far as row 3 before dinner.
Here's all the trimmings from the first 3 rows. I need to trim the last 3 and then cut the sashing strips for both the front and back. I know what I'm using for the front, I need to decide what will work for the back. Kate's Choice probably won't be done by the end of the month, but I'm hoping to make good progress on it in August.

I sure love the colors on Kate's Choice. Do you do anything with the fabric from your trimming?
Great forward progress. So far, how do you like the process? It's a great way to use leftover bits of batting. Hopefully you will keep working on it for a finish in the next month or so.
Congratulations on getting all of the blocks quilted and I hope that the next steps are enjoyable as you see it all come together!
Nothing better than spending a few days at home and in your sewing room, making quilting! Kate's Choice is coming along nicely, you are doing great with the quilting. Thank you for sharing!
Hi Kate, I'm glad that you're making good progress. Please consider linking up to FM Mavericks - you are quilting as you go! Thanks.
Your project has a nice assortment of blocks and a lovely soft colorway. QAYG always reminds me of Georgia Bonesteel. I've never tried it.
It’s looking good. I’m curious to see how this will work out. I’ve only done QAYG one time, and only on a doll-sized quilt, so I’ll be interested to see how you quilt it all together.
Looks like you're making great progress on the quilting! How are you planning to join the blocks?
You are making great progress on Kate's Choice. I have always been fascinated with the quilt as you go method. Have a great week. Hugs.
