Stitching Stuff: Week 7 of 2025

I've been AWOL this week.  Partly I'm still struggling with a cold and just haven't felt like doing much.  That really impacted my motivation to climb the stairs to my sewing room and that shows in my numbers for this week.

  • 15 minute days/week = 5/7 days
  • 15 minute days/Feb = 13/15 days
  • 15 minute days/2025 = 42/46 days
  • Success rate = 91.3%

At least my stitching time is over 90% for the year.  I didn't really set a goal for that this year.  If I'm still moving projects along than I'm stitching enough.

I've got some stuff going on early this week, I'm hoping to get in some stitching time each day, but it won't be easy early in the week. How did you do this week at getting in your stitching time?

Unfortunately some weeks are like that. You still got a lot of stitching in. After we moved to a single story house last year, I discovered that it is a lot easier for me to get into the sewing room regularly. I had never realized how going up the stairs made such a difference.

do you have anything that you could bring downstairs to work on when you don't feel like going up or is all your work by machine? I always have 2 projects or so by hand going for when I don't want a machine on.

I'm sorry that cold is hanging on for so long. Hope this week is better for you! I didn't sew much this week either, due to being out of town, but making up for it this weekend. Enjoy your Sunday, Kate!

Hi Kate, I hope that you'll be getting better soon! You might consider having a hand-stitching project downstairs when you want to stitch but don't want to do those stairs :-) Take care.
