Stitching Time: Week 19 of 2021

Happy Mother's Day!  I'm spending some time with my Mother this weekend (everyone has been vaccinated). The Scientist in Training has finished finals and she made her appearance yesterday.  So we are going to get Krispy Kreme as the end of term reward and otherwise just have a girls hang out till we have to head home this afternoon.

Work continues to be just crazy busy and it really took a bite out of my available stitching time.

  • 15 minute days/week = 4/7 days
  • 15 minute days/May = 5/8 days
  • 15 minute days/2021 = 115/128 days
  • Success rate = 89.84%
So not a horrible week, but not a great one either. My success rate has fallen below 90% for the first time this year.  The rest of the month is going to be much of the same. Hopefully I can stay above my goal to stitch for at least 15 minutes, 85% of the time.

So how did your stitchy week go?

Happy Mother's Day, Kate! Enjoy your day! I will be with my mother-in-law today, having seen my mom yesterday. It feels good to be able to be with family again.

Happy Mother's Day! Sorry your work week has been so busy but maybe it will let up soon. I always wonder about companies that require 10-12 hour days from their employees.

I love Krispy Kreme donuts but haven't had them in years. Enjoy yours and congratulations to SIT!

Rough weeks are bound to happen from time to time, especially when that pesky thing called work gets in the way! Hope you had a lovely day with your mom and daughter and hope you'll be able to get back to more stitching time soon.

Happy Mothers day, we celebrated a bit early as Maestro was working all day mothers day. Sorry that work is still being a pain but at least you managed some stitching and were able to catch up with your family.

Happy Mother's Day with your mother! I wasn't able to go see my mom but hope to this week. A phone call had to do.
You still have lots of year left to keep your goal up.

Hi Kate, I'm glad that you had a good Mother's day. I haven't been stitching as much as I would like but did get some it as I'm trying out goldwork for the first time...it turns out that they use actual metal threads. It's very cool :-) Take care.
