It's been a week. All three of us woke up with low grade fevers (99.X F) Thursday morning. None of us felt bad, it was most likely sinus related. But pandemic rules at work say if you have anything higher than normal temp, you aren't supposed to come into the office. So I worked from home my last work day for 2020. The fevers were gone by Saturday.
On the stitching front, it was a reasonably good week. Finding some time to stitch was easy for a change. The wind down to the holiday wasn't as manic as I thought it would be. Christmas shopping is done, so that wasn't competing with my stitching time either. How did it go in your sewing room last week? You can link up at the bottom of the post to share if you got in your stitching time for the week.
Finding time to stitch was relatively easy this week.

Spiderman was the Scientist in Training's first favorite superhero. She had a Spiderman cake for her second birthday. Superman is also hanging on the tree this year. She left off her Batman ornament, or at least I've not seen it if it's there.

Thank you for hosting the 15 minutes of stitching. It will motivate me to work all week long.
My DD was not all that into dolls either. It's funny how we think of little girls and they have their own personalities.
Glad to hear the fever was nothing serious. Lucky you having the rest of the year off to relax and enjoy the holidays.
I'm glad your fever went away, but it did hang around awhile. This is the time of year for sinus infections too.
Congratulations on maintaining such a high success rate all year. I know the year isn't over, but the coming week should only improve it. I'm glad you are going to continue this next year. Maybe I'll have a better year in 2021.
None of us other than our daughter had any kind of a temp when we had Covid; her temp was low grade. Glad you three are feeling better. I enjoy watching the Marvel movies with my "kids" so I'm liking that ornament :-)
I remember Mo had Woody and Buzz Light Year dolls when she was younger (she probably took them over from Maestro) we were never gender specific about toys. She probably had as much fun with trucks and cars as she had with dolls.
I love an eclectic collection of ornaments with good memories to go with them. My tree has a fun collection too.
Hopefully none of you have Covid. I find any little symptoms has me wondering.
That's so fun about the SIT! Hope you can continue the rest of the year with great stitching!
Hi Kate, I hope that you are all feeling better - I think that the sinus thing is around our home too! I had a good stitching week and enjoyed doing some slow stitching as well as advancing on the son's quilt top. It's my December OMG so I have to get a move on. I expect the holidays to be quiet so I hope to put in quite a few hours then. I hope that you have a great holiday and I'll see you in the new year! Take care and congrats on the longevity of your 15 minutes to stitch!
So glad your fevers were short lived! Love that Spiderman ornament--he's a favorite of the Fire Monkey as well.
