We did get snow this week, about an inch. My Guy bought me a fisheye lens for Christmas, so I had to try it out.
Looks kinda like a snow globe doesn't it? Not the most photogenic scene, but it was just too cold to be out and about. (Yes, I'm an absolute wimp when it's cold).
I slept a lot yesterday, but still managed to get in a few hours of stitching in between the napping. The final borders are going on Geek Chic, so the yardage going out added up quickly this week:
Fabric used this week: 1.11 yards
Fabric used in 2018: 3.07 yards
Fabric purchased in 2018: 0 yards
Net fabric out for 2018: 3.07 yards
The fabric shop adds are being deleted from my email without being read and it's been too cold to visit the quilt shop, so it's been easy to maintain the nothing in so far for 2018. I'm linking up with Quiltpaintcreate for this week's stash report.
The other weekly goal is to find 15 minutes to stitch each day.
It's not always easy to find the time to stitch, but it wasn't too hard to get to the sewing room this week.
Days with stitching this week: 7 out of 7
Days with stitching this month: 20 out of 20
Days with stitching this year: 20 out of 20
Success rate: 100%
This year is starting off much like last year. I managed to maintain my 100% through March last year. That's not likely to happen this year as I'll have business trip in March.
Now it's your turn. How did you do at finding time to stitch this week:

Pretty picture, and yes, it does look like a snow globe. Look at you go with your 15 minutes per day and your fabric usage! Your 2018 is off to a great start!
The snow looks pretty through the fish eye. Ours is mostly melted here after 2 days above freezing (finally). I like the warmer temps, but it sure is prettier with snow on the ground! I met my stitching goal for this week - four days of time in the sewing studio and a good chunk of time yesterday to work on this month's ufo!
Good start on the stash usage. The camera lens is interesting. Wonder what it would do with a sunset?
It's a good idea to just delete the quilt shop emails without looking at them--avoid temptation! Your stash numbers are looking great, as well as the 15 minutes a day. Hope your cold is gone soon.
I didn't get my 15 minutes each day. I did get bindings put on two quilts, and one is hand stitched to the back, so progress was made! Hope you feel better soon!
The weather here in Windsor ON is not so bad this week. It was beautiful Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Today it's dull and dreary but the temp is 36F. Not bad for late January.
I like your fish eye lens. It almost looks like you are looking through a peephole in a door.
You are on a roll with your 15 minutes. Keep up the good work.
Your stash management is great. I didn't keep track of how long each day, but I'm managing to sew every day also. Hope you don't get sick after being outside without a coat. Not a good day for a fire drill. brrr
I haven't been keeping track of my sewing days, but my year is off to a good start, too. Just hope I can keep it up! You'll just have to take some handwork on your trip. That works, right?
I love your snow globe idea, I'm sure you will get a postcard pretty pic before long, maybe to turn into a snow globe pic to use in designing your own Christmas cards for next Christmas, I love that idea. I don't manage to sew every day, I find I get too tired in the evenings and make mistakes, shame. We have has snow too, I got caught driving home in a snowstorm, frightening, then 24 hours later the temperatures shot up and it all disappeared overnight, weird. Keep warm, keep safe.
Great job on your 15 Minute goal!!!
