There wasn't much sewing time on Saturday due to errands and such. But I did get in a nice long stitching session on Sunday. Allietare is ready for shipping. It should go out to Trudy today. That's my OMG for June, so that goal is almost complete.
The other project with a lot of progress is Zombies in Paris.
Zombies in Paris, Self designed |
All 6 of the black Paris fabric hearts are done. What looks to be solid black in the top two rows is really a dark purple. It doesn't photograph really well in my sewing room. The first pink zombie heart is finally done. The remaining 5 are in progress, I should finish those up this week. Then I can start on the hearts that have the lighter purple background.
Now that Allietare is out of rotation, I really should get the binding ready for the Midnight Mystery quilt and get another finish on the books. The goal for this week is to at least decide on which fabric to use for the binding then get the it stitched and prepped.

I love the name of this quilt - it just sounds so wicked fun! I hope you have a wonderfully productive week, I'm looking forward to seeing more of this quilt. Thanks for linking to MCM!
I like how your weekend zips by just like mine...and I don't have to work full-time! I could see (and LOVE) that rich purple in the top row. Love! I have to find time to get my M Mystery quilted yet!
Ah, weekend time-bending, I know that! Good progress on two projects sounds like a great weekend to me!
I'm going to proof read this time. Feels great to have a quilt near the end. For having spent just a little time you have so much accomplish. Well today is now hump day, another weekend just a couple days away.

Yay for Allietare! Whew, that was about a million pieces, right?
Your hearts looks like fun sewing! It will make a cozy quilt.
At the moment every day seems to be going at warp speed! Well done with getting your quilt ready for the quilters and for all your progress on Zombies in Paris.
I agree that weekends go so much faster than weekdays, it's just not fair. I am loving how the zombie quilt is turning out.
Love the name of the quilt and colours are super!
