We all stayed home on Sunday, which allowed for a full afternoon of stitching. A couple of the Jigsaw blocks have been restitched with their new "tabs" and blocks for the last row have been cut. It's starting to come together again.

I'm much happier with the block placement, all the un-sewing of last week was definitely worth while.
The last of the green blocks for the Rainbow Scrap Sampler project were also cut and sewn.

The sampler is definitely colorful. The final setting will be different, but this one works for now. I'm thinking of using a thin white sashing between the blocks. There's still a half year of blocks left to make for this project, so there will likely be other thoughts as to the setting once those go up on the design wall.
That's it for my design wall this week. For more quilters eye candy, check out Patchwork Times.

Wow! Your sampler blocks look great. Love the colors in your jigsaw quilt, too.
I love both projects but I fascinated with the puzzle one. Love the rainbow color effect.
gotta try that puzzle quilt! yours is great.
Love both quilts, nice and bright and my colors.
OMG... love your sampler blocks! It's a scrappy colour riot!
Lovely colors. Love the sampler blocks, too.

As always I love the puzzle block. I know it has been a real challenge for you. And the Rainbow Scrap Challenge! Yowser they are so fun. Hum, I haven't even thought of June's block. There is a reason I am only doing one block a month!
I love your sampler, just lovely!!!!
Love the puzzle blocks. I really like that there's missing pieces, just like most of my puzzles :)
it's amazing to me how all of your sampler blocks 'play' so nicely together~! i'm looking forward to seeing what you do with the yellows.

Two terrific projects! The jigsaw definitely transitions more smoothly now, so your undoing and redoing were rewarded!
Your sampler block quilt is coming along beautifully Kate.
What a bummer about the microwave space. Hope the repair on the old one isn't too costly.
Love your jigsaw quilt. How fun is that?
LOVE the jigsaw! And it's almost done, woohoo! I can't wait to see it as a flimsy. And the scrappy blocks look like so much fun, I love seeing it grow.
