Stitching Stuff: Week 11 of 2026

It was one of those winter/spring weeks.  Winter a day, then spring a day, then repeat. My sinuses aren't happy with the wild shifts.  The forecast says we'll have another week of that in our future.  It's definitely made hanging out in the sewing room more attractive.

  • 15 minute days/week = 7/7 days
  • 15 minute days/Mar = 14/14 days
  • 15 minute days/2026 = 73/73 days
  • Success rate = 100%

So not surprising it was a good week on the time front, not so great on getting things done.  It's not from lack of trying, but I bit off more than I could reasonably do this week.  I still have the better part of two days to make some head way on my to do list.

How are you doing with your stitching stuff this week?

1. Gretchen
2. maggie fellow
3. Melissa G
4. Julie in GA
5. Karen
6. Andrée at Quilting & Learning
7. Quilting Gail
8. Shelina at Quilt and Color
9. Bonnie Stapleton
10. Frédérique
11. Marsha's Spot

Ugh, this weather. You will be about 10 degrees colder than we will tonight. Add in the crazy wind and your sewing room should be a real sanctuary for you! Hopefully this week I will get to catch-up in my sewing room.

We are having weather whiplash lately, too - 75 degrees yesterday, but a cold front with snow and freezing temps blew in overnight. The trees are starting to bud out because it has been so warm here, so I hope the cold day today doesn't bother them. It will definitely be a good day here to stay in and get some things done in the sewing room!

Hi Kate, good luck with your list - but don't get stressed about it! It is supposed to be fun :-) We have the same weather here but right now it's still winter!!!

We have had some super windy days - semis were overturned and people who had trampolines lost them. I am so glad that the mature trees in our neighborhood held up as did my old roof.

Whatever the weather, the sewing room is always the best place in the house ;)) Well done with your stitching time, and thank you for the motivation and the linky party
