This is the last Sunday in November. Are you as shocked by that statement as I am? I'm not ready for us to be so close to the last month of the year. It's been such a good year on the stitching front, it's easy to not want it to end. I really didn't expect to be almost to the end of November with an intact stitching streak for the year.
- 15 minute days/week = 7/7 days
- 15 minute days/Nov = 23/23 days
- 15 minute days/2024= 328/328 days
- Success rate = 100%
I've had to work at getting in time each day, but I've managed. Sometimes it is just 15 minutes, but most of the time it's hours. The progress on this year's quilt plan is due to all the sewing time I've been able to fit in this year.
The great fabric reorganization in my sewing room got put on hold this week. We had some yard stuff we absolutely needed to get handled before it gets too cold, so rather than spending most of my Saturday in the sewing room, I was outside holding the ladder while My Guy trimmed trees and cleaned the gutters. We both are pretty sore after all that work. I'm hoping I can manage the stairs to the sewing room later today.
How did your stitchy week work out?

That outside work has to be done and you definitely don't want to be doing it when it's really cold! Have an enjoyable day in the sewing studio!
Yes, I am shocked that it is the last Sunday in November! These weeks and months fly by. That fabric will still be waiting for you when you get the yard work done, and you can relax into it knowing that the outside chores are done!
I think we need to get all the Christmas decorating done outside this week before it turns cold - it is creeping up on us isn't it.
Hi Kate, it's hard to believe that we are vintage now....I really liked your Guy's photo and did recognise it! I'm looking forward to seeing your next photos! Congrats on your amazing streak! I'm not ready December but I don't think that matters much. Good luck with the stairs.
Just reading about the outdoor chores makes me ache! All of the work needs to be done but not my favorite activity.
Your consistency on stitching time is very impressive! I hope you can keep it up until the end of the year. It's time to be finishing up the outdoor chores around here too. Fortunately, my guy takes care of most of that.
Kate another great week for you with your stitching time! I’m sure you and your guy were a bit stiff and sore after the yard work. Sure hope you made it upstairs to your sewing room after. 😉 Carol
