So my stitching time hasn't increased. Add in making a few face masks for family and friends means that time for project sewing has actually been lower this month. But there has been some progress with the PHD program.
Binding and label are done for the Winter Quilt Along project.
I've started stitching the binding to the front of the quilt. Just one side done as of tonight, but this part will go fast. It's the hand stitching to the back that's going to be a bit slow. But that's OK, I like the hand stitching part of the finish.
There's been progress on the last border for Mosaic Mystery.
The border strips are all sewn together. So now I can cut the strips to fit the two longest sides. I'm hoping to have a finished flimsy by the next PHD update.
There's been good progress on Frolic.

I need three more light blue blocks and I'll be ready to assemble the last 3 rows. I'm hoping to have all the rows together by the end of the month.
There's been a bit of progress on the Butterfly Medallion project.
The cross stitch is done in the top of the wing and I've started adding in the black out line and detail stitching.
That's all the progress towards the PHD in 2020.
I couldn't resist starting a new project. Bonnie Hunter's Unity quilt along just looked like too much fun to pass up.

The black and yellow fabrics have been in the stash for a long time. The colors looked great in EQ, I hope the actual fabrics work equally as well in the final quilt.
So here's the PHD report as of today.
So one finish, but one new start. At least I'm breaking even on total number of projects. I'm moving along on several projects, so I'm hoping for a mass of finishes later this year.
Check out Quilting Gail to see how everyone else is progressing with their PHD programs.

It may not feel like it, but you are making great progress.
So fun that you are sewing Unity too! I'm really enjoying it, even though I haven't finished Frolic yet.
They'll all get done in due time!
That purple metallic binding is GORGEOUS! What a fun touch around the quilt that will be!
the purple is great! I would find it hard to work from home I think - when I am home I would want to do "home" stuff not work!
What a pretty purple. It looks like it has some metallic gold mixed in. I’m loving Frolic. So pretty.
Your Frolic is beautiful. That yellow -- I think I inherited some of that from a neighbor. If so, I've got a ton of that in pink from her stash too! Lol! Don't you love how the simple outline stitch really brings X-stitch to life??!! I hate doing it but I sure love how the design comes to life. See you at the end of April!
Great progress! Love that binding fabric!
Little bits of progress across the board is better than no progress at all, Kate. Kudos to you for continuing to plod along!
Nice to get a glimpse of your pretty quilting on the Winter piece :)
You are doing great! One finish is terrific. Enjoy. Sorry that 'coming home' is not as clean for you. I will admit that I have to shut down or put my work computer to sleep and turn the work phone to vibrate as my "commute" home to get my brain to acknowledge that the work is done for the day. There are always too many open tasks for my comfort. eHUGS!
That border fabric for the Mosaic Mystery is gorgeous. I think you're making good progress. I'm glad I'm retired and don't have to deal with working from home which would have been difficult since I was the Head of a Public Library. In which case we would be closed now anyway. Keep moving forward, one day at a time.

Your projects are so pretty and I really like the colors you are using in the Mystery and Bonnie’s. Very very pretty and striking! Hugs
You are making good progress on so many different projects! I can't wait to see Frolic all together--love your colors!
You are doing a lot! I have no excuse for my puny efforts. Will try to do MORE than 15 a day to move along better. Thanks for the sharing of your progress - it's motivating.
