It's been a hectic week, so there wasn't as much time for sewing as I would have liked. But I did find enough time to finish up the second pink Vintage Dress in time for this week's Rainbow Scrap Challenge post.

I like this one. It looks like a dress my sister had when we were in high school. Here are both pink dresses.
I finished the first pink dress last week. It looks like it's almost red when photographed next to the second dress, but it really is pink. These are going to fit in nicely with the rest of the dresses.
I've got the patterns and fabrics picked out for the August blocks.
The really light gray on the right may have to be replaced. I haven't checked to see how well it shows up against the white background. These two will take longer than the pink dresses did, both patterns have more parts. So I doubt I get caught up in September. But at least I'm just one month behind, it could be worse.

The little dresses are so darned cute, and your fabric choices have been perfect. I was thinking this morning that they remind me of the drawings on the covers of dress patterns.
When I saw that dress I thought "First day back to school in my day". Perfect!

Your pink dresses are so adorable! I'm sure sewing with the grays will be a lot different, but I noticed that I like the calmness of the grays mixed in with the other brighter colors - they make a nice contrast. Have a happy senior year alongside your DT. I know it will fly by!
Your dresses are so fun. They remind of dresses popular when I was a child. I love all the detail they have (especially obvious in the drawings). I really like the fabric in the dress on the right.

Ooh, what lovely fabrics! Great work getting the two pink dresses done. (And it's been al almost 20 years, but I remember junior year being much harder than senior year in the work load!).
Do love how your dresses are coming long==great work!! I did get a few more applique dresses designed and traced onto the freezer paper--but--there is sits!!!
