Most of this weekend was spent making flying geese for the Sofa Couch Quilt project that Judy Laquidara has going on right now. I have the first 72 done, and have made a start on the second 72. So as usual I'm still behind.
I did finish the last block for the Sweet Treats quilt finally (Judy's last quilt along).
Designed by Judy Laquidara (pattern available here) |
I'm still playing around with the final layout, but I think this is close. I'm not going to use the corner stones, so the next step will be sashing.
The Coffee Cup Quilt and the Red, White and Blue Stars are still up on the design wall, but no progress was made. The next color in the Rainbow Scrap Challenge is blue. I raided my scraps looking for blues to finish the last "E" and make two more cups. Deciding on the fabric for the "E" was easy, but there was lot of debate about what to choose for the cups. A decision was made and I hope to make a start on those next weekend as well.
More design walls are posted over at Judy's Patchwork Times.
