Sorry the post is a bit late this morning, I forgot to set it up to post automatically.
It's been a busy week. Took the car in for it's biannual service and found out we need new tires for the back. We replaced the front two tires back in June when we were in Texas for Grad Girl's defense due to the hole in the sidewall. Turns out all wheel drive cars need all the tires with the same rolling distance. So new matching tires are ordered for the back and the car will go in Monday for those. My visit with my mother went well. She's still not a 100% recovered from the respiratory infection she caught a couple of weeks ago, but she's doing better.
So definitely not bad for a busy week. Scrap processing and fabric organization just aren't happening right now. Hopefully I'll get in some of that before the end of the year.
I did manage to fit in some stitching time even with my road trips last week.
- 15 minute days/week = 7/7 days
- 15 minute days/Oct = 18/18 days
- 15 minute days/2025 = 251/291
- Success rate = 86.25%
How did you do with fitting in some stitching time this week?

There's always something when it comes to cars, isn't there?! Glad your mom is doing better - that is always worrisome. Have a relaxing Sunday, and I hope there's some sewing involved!
I've gotten maybe 1/2 hour's worth on three days this week; hands and shoulders still complaining a bit.
I hope to work on the last block of "Sunrise, Sunset" today for a bit...
Hugs, Julierose
Respiratory infections are very difficult.
I wish you and yours good health.
Good for you making a 7 or 7 sewing week. Especially when you had a lot of other things going on.
Hi Kate, it sounds like you've had another busy week. I often wonder where the time has gone. Best of luck this week. :-)
So glad your Mom is doing better, hope she fully recovers soon. Ugh on the tires, but at least you'll be set for awhile. This will not be much of a sewing week for me - our daughter's 50th birthday is Saturday, so I have some old photo arranging and cake baking to do!
It does seem like you had another busy week Kate, but you did manage your stitching time every day. Good to hear your Mom is recovering. Sad news about the tires though. I had to replace our Summer tires this year ($1800.) but the winters are good for another year. Now I have a broken motor mount. Isn’t it always something? Thank you for keeping us motivated with our Stitchin Time. I even remembered to link up this week. 🤣 Carol
I feel bad that I'm not going to stitch on the quilt top, but I just don't have time to do everythng
