Stitching Stuff: Week 18 of 2025

It was another chill week.  I'm making progress on emptying the attic. But now I'm to the actually stuff in boxes.  So figuring out what to keep, donate and pitch is going to take longer.  I still managed to get in my stitching time this week.

  • 15 minute days/week = 7/7 days
  • 15 minute days/April = 30/30 days
  • 15 minute days/2025 = 118/123/days
  • Success rate = 95.93%
I've kept the momentum from March and managed to stitch every day in April too.  We'll see how it goes in May, My Guy is hinting he wants to take a few days off and actually go some place.

I didn't make any progress on the stash reorganization.  The plan there is to do that weekend mornings, but I've been pretty lazy about getting upstairs the last couple of weekends.  Maybe I'll do better next weekend.

How well did you do with your sewing goals this week?

Your stitching numbers are very good. Mine are better this week ;) Thank you for the motivation, Kate!

Your stitching numbers are excellent, and your commitment to going through the attic is truly inspiring!

Has your Guy hinted at anyplace in particular he might like to go? My stitching time got interrupted when I finally noticed a block I got out of order in my flimsy. It's like it paralyzed me - lol - I really need to make myself do some ripping today.

It's figuring out what to do with those things in boxes that have been stored away all this time that always stops me! Good luck with that big job. I'm working on my projects a little bit each day - every little bit counts!

I hope you are able to enjoy a few days away, Kate. Of course, you can take some hand piecing along to keep up your momentum. Despite spending a lot of time outside this week, I was able to get in my 15 minutes a day. Even just a little bit of time with the needle and thread feels wonderful . Enjoy your day. Hugs.

Congrats on another 100% month! Sounds like you are doing a good job of going through the attic - we have so much in our basement and need to do some serious sorting out there.

Yikes, cleaning out an attic seems overwhelming. It helps to move more often... for our last move about 9 years ago we really got rid of a lot of stuff. So our basement storage area is pretty cleaned up. Now, the studio and another room is run over with way too much sewing stuff. I need to get at least some of that organized. It isn't very much fun though.

Kate it’s so inspiring to see your stats for your stitching time. I’m hoping mine will keep going up now that things are settling down here at home 😃
