There has been a little bit of stitching since the weekend, but not a lot. I finished off the 34 square in a square blocks that were this month's clue for the Midnight Mystery.

That red really makes for bright blocks. But these blocks will get paired with the flying geese that were last month's clue.
These should help tone down all that red. Looking forward to getting starting on October's clue when it comes out next week.
Linking up with WIP Wednesday, WIPS on Wednesday and Needle and Thread Thursday.

I love the red and, yes, the gray geese should tone things down.
Looks like a fabulous mix of colours! Always exciting in a mystery!
Love your square in a square blocks! I am eagerly anticipating the next clue!! :)
I haven't had (or made) rice crispy treats in a long time - maybe for Halloween. Your mystery blocks look wonderful and should play nicely together.
I'm anxious to see how these blocks all play together. I think they are really going to look great. I do love red - so I know I'll love your quilt. I'm doing the mystery too, I sewed my geese lat night and will start on the square in a square next. I have to catch up for Oct's clue.
Great colours! Love red at all times, I am looking forward to the next instalment.
Great colors! I love the contrast.
