There was probably more cutting going on yesterday than stitching. The bodice pieces for the second Vintage Dress block are now all ready for assembly and the pieces needed for the back of McCall's Mystery quilt are mostly assembled after realizing I had the quilt math wrong. That's the invisible progress. If you look at the big design wall, you can see visible progress on Allietare.

Just four more of the Pisa blocks to go. I need to cut some more of the blue centers before I can finish those off. Then its time to finish off the star blocks. I'm hoping to have this one finished off in February.

Wow! Your Allietare just might be my favorite. The blues and reds are beautiful! Great progress!
Love the graphic quality of your fabrics. Using constant fabrics sure changes the look from scrappy versions. I do think this is one of BH's better mysteries and it looks good no matter how it's made.
I agree that this may be one of my favorites. I'm looking forward to seeing your progress. Good luck this week. I hope DH gets outside soon.
I like how crisp and clean your blocks look!
Yep this is definitely my favorite color way so far, love it.
OMG this just stands right out! I agree with everyone's comments.
Love your Allietare! I agree, I think this is one of Bonnie's best mystery quilts. They all look so lovely, and yours is no exception. It will be stunning! I love what you said about the invisible progress...I've made a lot of invisible progress on projects too. Sometimes getting it wrong (such as cutting pieces the wrong size) is so frustrating that I put the project away for a long while. But now I see how I should really look at it! Thanks.
The Allietare is looking good. The red blocks look like flames from a distance. Now I'm curious about the finished quilt. I guess that's why I don't do mystery quilts. No patience.
Love the colorway you are using. Gives it a whole different feel.
The reds/blues are so striking together. It makes me want to take a second look. :) Congrats on your 'invisible' progress! I hope you get lots of sewing time this week.
I love the colors/fabrics you chose for your Allietare! The blocks pulse with energy!
I love your Allietare blocks--the colors are so rich and striking!
I am loving the strong geometric pattern and colors in your quilt, beautiful!
That quilt is going to be so stunning!
Those blue-white-red blocks are gorgeous - they remind me of intricate floor tiles. :)
I wasn't sure this was Allietare until I read the post. (Can you tell I didn't participate in this?) I must say I love your colors. It takes on a whole new look using yardage rather than scraps. It is wonderful.
Oh, my. What a beautiful quilt that's going to be!
Great color choices for your Allietare!
Sorry about the wind - I don't like it either, when your face hurts its not fun. LOVE LOVE LOVE your allietare!!! Keep showing your progress!!!
