I spent most of my day off in the sewing room. It was a pretty productive day. I'm almost finished with the back for the Layer Cake Quilt Along. And I finally finished off a Twinkle Star in this month's Rainbow Scrap Challenge color.
Twinkle Stars, Tutorial by Andrea Feldbush of Soscrappy |
Very black and white, but I like it. The black corners actually have very fine gray lines on them, but they don't show up really well in this photo. Just 5 more left to make. With a week left in August, I should be able to finish up a couple more before the month ends.
You can find more indigo, black and gray blocks over at Soscrappy.

At this season of my life, I have a hard time imagining my kids getting places on their own!

That block looks so awesome with the spider webs throughout. Isn't It great when you don't have to worry about pick up an drop off. Look at the time you have to spend doing what you want!
