Stitching Stuff: Week 45

One week of November gone already.  This time of year speeds by, it will be the end of the year before we know it. This last week certainly went quickly, but I did better at finding time to wander into the sewing room.

  • 15 minute days/week 45 = 6/7 days
  • 15 minute days/November = 5/6 days
  • 15 minute days/2021 = 246/310 days
  • Success rate = 79.35%
So not a bad week.  I'm hoping things remain on an even keel for the rest of the month. We have a wedding later this month, but I will be off for the week of Thanksgiving, so hopefully I'll have lots of stitching time then.

The Scientist in Training has been busy with exams and graduate school applications.  She hasn't had as much time for embroidery as she'd like, but she did find some time to finish off a cute addition to her fall wardrobe.

She did a good job with it.  I think her next project is a sweatshirt for one of her chemistry buddies who is graduating in December.  Though I think she also has some projects she wants to finish as Christmas gifts.

Hopefully you've had time to play with needle and thread this week. Please link up below and share how that went.

This time of the year goes faster than any other.
Your daughter made a beautiful embroidery.
Hope you find some time for stitching during the week.

Oh, good luck with your stitching. I am looking forward to time off and an extra day that I wasn't expecting the week of Thanksgiving. Hopefully, you will get time in the sewing room.

LOve the embroidery work by the SIT, Mo has just made the most gorgeous teapot for her boyfriend, its great to see the next generation is carrying on the creativity. Hope things slow down for you before Christmas.

SIT's embroidery looks so pretty! My daughter just finished a cross-stitch for me; now I need to do my part and decide how to display it.

Looks like you are back on track with some fun projects and great sewing time. Nice to see SIT’s sewing time is still happening in spite of real life!
