The plan was to get all the borders added to En Provence and get the backing made. Well, the pieced borders have all been added, plus one of the dark blue strips that make up the final border.
En Provence, A Bonnie Hunter Mystery (2016) |
I had hoped to get in some stitching time this evening to get at least one other border strip added, but alas a change in a project requirement at work required me to spend this evening on the computer so the update is ready for approval tomorrow. The two pieced 4-patch borders seemed never-ending. So in spite of not getting to the finished flimsy stage, I'm very happy with the progress on this project this month.
This is only the second time in two years that I've not met my one monthly goal. I just bit off more than my schedule could accommodate last month. So what's the plan for December? I'm not sure yet, I'll have to contemplate on that for a day or two.
Linking up with the November One Monthly Goal month end.

You made wonderful progress. The quilt is so beautiful. Thanks for linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal.
Your OMG accomplishments are still noteworthy.
This is looking fantastic! Some progress is better than no progress at all!
I love how your header changed for the season. Such pretty colors.
Well, I would definitely not call not meeting your November OMG a fail when you have had so much going on at work lately! This quilt is so beautiful. What are your plans for this one?
Ditto what everyone else said -- love En Provence.
Sorry you didn't get as far as you wanted, but I think you are doing an incredible amount of quilting in your "spare" time. Hard to believe that December is here already. Having just 9, and now 8, working days left in the year makes it seem like the year is almost over.
Good job on getting those 4-patch borders done. En Provence looks great!
The second time in two years you haven't met your goal? You are my hero!
It looks great, and I think you can totally give yourself a break! You must be close to the end of the work schedule - hope you enjoy the long break!
