I'm a big fan of Bonnie Hunter's leaders and enders method. It's a nice way to make progress on a project while you are stitching on other quilts. It's especially nice for a project I've gotten stalled on because I don't like the assembly process. That's not the case with my current leaders and enders project, I've just been busy trying to get the graduation quilts finished. En Provence is my current leaders and enders project. Just before my business trip I finished block number 6 and decided to throw all the blocks up on the design wall to see how it's looking.
I'd like to end up with 12 blocks, but there may not be enough fabric for that. There is enough for another 3 blocks, so I'm going to get those made and reassess. I'm really happy with how it's coming together. Leaders and enders is a slow way to finish a project. On the other hand, there would be no progress at all if I wasn't working on a few seams at a time while making other stuff.

Your design wall looks fantastic! Beautiful blocks!
Its pretty amazing what you can make with leader & enders! What a beautiful one you have!
It's looking good so far! If you can get three more blocks, that will be a nice size. I really need to look at starting a leaders and enders project. The ones I've seen have turned out great.
Keep going one stitch at a time, you are making headway and is is beautiful.
This is such a beautiful color combination! A little progress is certainly better than none at all! :)
Love your colors in that quilt--nice and bright and happy colors!!
I also like to do leaders and enders--though I need a new project right now for that?????
enjoy the moments,di
It is looking beautiful. Progress is progress no matter how slow!
beautiful! amazing what you can accomplish while you're accomplishing other things ...
I 100% agree with the leaders/enders philosophy! Now if I could get my sh*t together to have another on the go, I'd end up with another Scrap Vortex or strip of migrating geese for one of my RSC projects!
Seems complicated to sew a little bit at a time, in amongst your other projects. I'm impressed! And such a lovely quilt you will have :)
This quilt design is beautifully complex, I really like the colors you are using.
While I understand the concept behind the L/E method I've never tried it. I think it would stress me to think about sewing basically two projects at once. Your blocks are so pretty - I love those colors!
Great progress, Kate!!
Love these blocks! I did try the L&E's idea once, but got very sidetracked and stopped everything else just to keep going!
What a pretty colorway. I like it when someone takes Bonnie's ideas and makes them her own. You've done a nice job.
Looking good and coming together beautifully.
Your blocks are looking great. I have thought about starting a scrappy leaders and enders project, I've talked about it, but I haven't got around to doing something about it. Trouble is I have to sort the dreaded scrap boxes first. It's a great concept though.
