Jigsaw pattern by Alyssa Clancy for Lehmann Quilting |
Three of seven rows have been completed. Most of the blocks for row 4 are cut out and some are even partially assembled. I have to go slowly so I don't mix up block parts. Drama Teen is really happy with it so far and so am I.
By cleaning off the design walls, there is space to lay out the blocks for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge Sampler. Only one more blue block to assemble and I'll have all of last month's blocks done.

I've not had to duplicate any scraps in these blocks, but the last block will include some duplicates. I like the set. I've made a start on the pink blocks, but none are finished yet.
That's what's up on my design wall this week. Check out Patchwork Times for more works in progress.

Love your daughters bright quilt. I laugh every time you call her drama teen, boy do I remember those days.
The puzzle quilt is wonderful. I'm liking the way you are working with the colors. I like your butterflies as well. Offsetting the blocks is the way to go, although I liked the first one too.
LOVE the header change Kate...This new one is so very you!
The Rainbow scrap sampler is starting to look like an almost finished project! How many more blocks do you have to do?
I've seen jig-saw quilts before, but never one with a graded rainbow arrangement. It's stunning. I can imagine that assembly would be impossible without a design wall, and even so, something of a headache.
Your rainbow colors puzzle quilt is looking fabulous! I can imagine how easy it would be to get pieces in the wrong place, but yours looks so good. Love the butterfly block on your header too.
Ahhh! I'm so glad you posted the jigsaw quilt. I have one cut out but wondered what it would look like put together. I really like the colors in yours. Hope mine looks half as good.
Your jigsaw quilt is looking great. I love that pattern. I started the blue SoScrappy blocks but haven't made nearly as many as you. You are really going strong. Nice variety of blues too.
i think that the jigsaw quilt is so SO fun and pretty~! love seeing that you are getting it put together~!
i also enjoyed looking at the various layouts for your butterfly blocks. isn't it awesome that we have the technology to play around with ideas a bit before making a decision and sewing~!?!

I love all your blue blocks. How big are they? Just wondering how big the finished quilt it going to be...
The jigsaw pattern is really cool.
For not getting to sew much, you are making some great progress! DT's rainbow quilt is going to be a real work of art!
