It was a good week on the stitching front. Though I only got in my 15 minutes on Thursday. Not sure if it's another cold or just allergies. I felt crappy pretty much all day. Thankfully, I felt much better on Friday and got lots done in the sewing room. My stitching time report looks good.
- 15 minute days/week = 7/7 days
- 15 minute days/Sept = 21/30 days
- 15 minute days/2025 = 237/277 days
- Success rate = 85.56%
Definitely not the 100% I had last year, but maybe I needed a year of focusing on something else. To sew 85% of the time is still significant. I'm hoping my stats improve before the end of the year.
No stash organization this week, other than to bemoan my lack of effort on that front. Hopefully the motivation to work on that part of my sewing room will come back at some point before the end of the year.
The house seems so quite with Grad Girl and Queenie back in Texas. Since I was missing them both this week, one night I asked for new Queenie picture and GG sent this one.
I can't decide if she just woke up or is just contemplating life. At any rate, she looks pretty cute.
Did you spend any time with needle and thread this week?

Sweet Queenie pic! Glad you are feeling better. I have been working on a charity quilt, while I (selfishly) can't wait to "play" with another pattern.
I definitely need to do some organizing and destashing. It's hard to be productive when my sewing room is such a mess. Cute kitty picture!
Neither cold or allergies are fun, I hope you are feeling much better and ready to sew and sew and sew! Queenie is very cute on this photo.
I don't know about you, but I have to be in just the right mood to spend time on my fabric organization! I did some yesterday, and that was enough, lol! I know you'll get back to yours, too. That's a sweet picture of Queenie!
I think your numbers for the year are great, it's hard to follow your 100% year, but 85% isn't shabby at all. Queenie looks like she's settling into the new home well.
I am glad you are feeling better, Kate. Allergies/ colds can really drain one's energy. Aaw Queenie is adorable. I hope Grad Girl and Queenie are adjusting to their new home. Hugs.
Let's hope the allergies start calming down. My PA said that as you age you can get new things you are allergic to! WHAT! Not fair. I am secretly hoping she is wrong about that.
I hope you are feeling better by now Kate. Your stitching stas look great to me considering the year you had. Hope this week has you feeling better and stitching up a storm. Thanks for hosting the linky party that helps keep us all motivated to stitch every day (or at least as many days as we can 😉)
Hi Kate, after getting 100% last year, there was only one way to go, unless it was the same ;-) I always thought that 85% was wonderful when I was in school - so I think it still is. Good luck with the flu/allergies. I'm having a rough one today - I am Poppy sitting and I have to take her for walks - so a double wammy of the allergens! Take care.
