An easy subject, but one that requires some thought to make interesting. I probably took the easiest and least imaginative way out with my photo.
This is a long ago Christmas gift from my sister, probably before the Scientist in Training was born, so it's more than 20 years old. It currently hangs out in the china cabinet. That may be the only reason it survived so long, it was well out of reach of curious kiddo hands.
My Guy ended up with a series of photographs in an effort to get an interesting shot. Then he had a hard time picking just one.
He finally settled on this one. It looks like a photo from a nice cookbook, at least I think so.
The Scientist in Training is back with a photo this week now that she's got the semester mostly figured out.
I'm not sure what she was making with all these eggs, but the ramekins are there on the counter, so maybe a custard dessert of some type?
I can't pick a favorite this week, I like both My Guy's and the SIT's photo this week. We've drawn the card for next week. It should be interesting to see what we all come up with.
My Guy has pointed out that it's supposed to be a "thing", so I can't take a photo of him and the SIT as my submission next week. There are lots of different ways to "value" something, I'm going to have to think on it a bit. Hope you come back next week to see what we all come up with.

I love them all. Earlier this week I was out for a walk when I realized I’d forgotten to give myself a challenge. Doh!
The best part of your weekly challenges is discovering how many different ways there are to "see" something! I hope the SIT made something delicious with her eggs!
Always interesting to see the different directions you go. The stages of the egg was quite clever.
I love your family photo challenges!
I love all three--it is a 3 way tie--and it does sound like you are all 3 having fun with it and that is the best part--good luck next week--love this challenge and you posting about it--thanks-
hugs, di
I like all three of them. Your Guy's photo is making me hungry.
These are so fun! My first thought when I saw next week's was my family, the "thing" part makes it harder. Have fun!
Fun Photos
Your decorative egg is very pretty - and very unique!
Neat egg photos!
