I had hoped to finish getting the binding on Storm at Sea, but that didn't happen. So no finish to show off today. There's another 50 something inches left to stitch. I'm off work this afternoon, so fingers crossed I'll have time to finish it today.
There is some visible progress on the Red, White and Blue Stars quilt.

Just one more row of sashing strips to make and I can concentrate on getting this stitched together.
The post office must be having equipment issues. It took a week for my payment for quilting the Christmas Mystery to reach Trudy because at some point the envelope was completely mangled. That quilted project should be on it's way back today. The plan was to have Frolic ready to ship out once the Christmas quilt was on the way back. I didn't get that far.

The backing is de-threaded, pressed and packaged for shipping. I did get started on de-threading and pressing the Frolic top, but didn't get very far. I've managed to clean up about a third of the quilt top. It should be ready to ship out by the end of the week.
Finish was my word for 2020. So far I've finished three quilts. That total should be four by the end of the week. With one more quilted and another ready for quilting, my finished numbers are slowly creeping up. I want to keep an emphasis on finishing next year. I'm determined to get the number of WIPs and UFOs cut down significantly. So what's another word for "finish"? I've got a couple of months to figure that out.

The RWB stars look like a great way to get the hang of Lone Star piecing. (And less frustrating that trying to make one giant Lone Star.) The skinny center sash is very effective. I'll need to remember that.
I think a wonderful synonym for finish is "accomplish". And you are accomplishing a lot right now! I hope you have a lovely week.
The red and blue stars are looking great. You have a good eye for color. I’m excited to see Frolic finished too.

I love the sashing on the R/W/B piece. It looks so complicated, but I see it's probably fairly simple strip piecing. Clever! I've squirreled that away in my inspiration file :)
The poor post office is really having problems these days. Our mail comes in around 7 to 8 pm at night now. Some days nothing is delivered at our end. I'm glad your check didn't get lost. (Main reason we actually voted early in person...) I'm sure there are a few more finishes in your future. How about Done for your word. I was going to say completed but Rebecca suggested it. But done is short and describes what's going on. (But I like completed better!) I'm looking forward to seeing Storm at Sea.

I first thought Complete, but it just doesn't have the right lilt. I saw someone mention Accomplish, and that seems a fitting word. Good luck with your goals!
You sure are making good progress! I work with systems, and we use the word Implemented - doesn’t quite have the same ring for quilts, does it?
