The only progress this week has been to finish all the HSTs for the Inverted Star block and decide on a layout.
Inverted Star by Jessica Boschem of Common Threads available from Craftsy as a free download |
I had to use pieces from the Keepsake Quilting layer cake that arrived last week to make 3 of the 2.5 inch squares needed for the block. There wasn't any other teals in my stash to use. With all the stuff going on at work, there has been no time to work on any on the sampler blocks, but I hope to get a couple of those made this week.
That's it for my scrappy adventures with teal. To check out more on the ball scrappy adventurers, check out the links over at Soscrappy.

Sometimes life does interfere with our sewing. Love your inverted star block. Enjoy the time with your daughter this weekend.
Very pretty block.
Cute star. Love the name Drama Teen. I have two teen boys maybe they need nick names.
Another beautiful inverted star in the making. I think it's such a fun pattern, I'm amazed each time I see one of your blocks.
But the teal you did have made one beautiful block. Loving this one !
fantastic block!
Sounds like a hectic week so congratulations on getting the HST's done for the inverted star.
That's a lovely star pattern especially for scraps.
You still found time to make this lovely block, that's good!
Your scrappy star block looks beautiful!
I had a pretty non-productive week as well–though I have no good reasons for mine. I rallied and made some teal blocks last night, maybe it was the push we both needed to get back in the zone ;-)
