This is the last Sunday in 2025. The years seem to go faster and faster the older I get. Maybe this upcoming January will be quiet. I'm ready for some slow and steady stay at home time.
It can be hard to find time to stitch during Christmas week, I did pretty well this holiday.
- 15 minute days/week = 7/7 days
- 15 minute days/Dec = 26/27 days
- 15 minute days/2025 = 316/361 days
- Success rate = 87.53%
I'm not going to make 90% this year, but my long standing goal has always been to do better than 75%. So I'm on track there. When you really think about it, managing to sew most days out of the year is really a good accomplishment.
Now it's time to look towards 2026. Do you have your sewing room goals all lined up? Is improving your sewing time one of them?

I read there was going to be snow in your area as the blue norther arrives. We have low racing clouds and wind but no precipitation forecast; however it will be nice to have days out of the 80s and maybe some real winter for a change.
I'd say given all the things that were going on in your life this year, you did very well with your percentage. Maybe things will be slower, now that your daughter is settled in her new job. Enjoy the process, let go of the stress.

Hope you've had a really enjoyable holiday, Kate! I'm still thinking through my plans for 2026, but an hour a day in the sewing room is always my goal. I'm lucky to be able to get that most days and can get a lot done that way. Have a wonderful Sunday!
It definitely a challenge to stitch every day -- especially when big holidays come around. Phew, I was able to sew or knit or stitch all week. Today I spent most of the day in the studio stitching and cleaning up from stitching! See you next year!
Hi Kate, I'm glad that you had time to stitch during Christmas. It's not always easy. I seem to have time but little energy. Oh well, tomorrow should be good :-) I'm hosting a planning party for 2026. I hope you'll share your plans with us. Take care
Hi Kate. I’m so pleased I had time and actually remembered to link my stitchin time this week. Thanks for hosting us all this year. It sure helps me keep moving projects along in spite of real life 😉 Carol
