Two Squared Away blocks in purple have been started, but both are far from finished. The only bit of purple I have to show for this week is two Sawtooth Stars.
The plan is to use these 4" blocks as the border for my 2014 Rainbow Scrap Project. I've shown the final plan before, but it's been a while.

Inverted Star is my July UFO, at least that's what was planned back in December.
Linking up with Soscrappy for Saturday's parade of purple blocks. On Sunday the Oh Scrap linky party goes live. Now I'm off to get in a bit of catching up on email and blog reading before I tackle that first report.
I hate it when work interferes with sewing. Hopefully you can get back to your fabric tomorrow though.
ReplyDeleteI love star blocks. This going to be an amazing quilts. Thank you for sharing the pattern.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great layout (I'd not seen it before) - it's going to be an amazing quilt! When work starts getting to me, I try to remember that's what I do so I can afford "therapy" (fabric)! Hope it eases up soon for you, though.
ReplyDeleteThat's totally fabulous. Especially the border stars 😍😍😍
ReplyDeleteThose are such beautiful purple stars! I guess I should get my sawtooth star quilt from RSC out from a couple of years ago and finish it.
ReplyDeleteIt's crummy here, too - 60 degrees on Thursday, but the snow started yesterday again and is still here today. Ugh! Your planned layout for the Inverted Stars quilt is wonderful, and the Sawtooth Stars border will be beautiful. Hope you get a little stitching time in this weekend!

ReplyDeleteHope the reports didn’t chew up too much of your weekend. I spent three hours on my work computer yesterday morning catching up on email! I’ve had a busy few weeks and was way behind, but it feels great now to have 3/4 of the messages deleted or filed. I love your star blocks and look forward to seeing that quilt come together!
