Blooms and Butterflies Bloom block by Lea Brummett, setting by Kate |
So the planting has begun, but there's a long way to go before the blooms will start showing up. Just like in growing a real garden unfortunately. But that's OK, progress is progress even if it's slow.
There's another project that's just about to take over the design wall. Poinsettias has been my leaders and enders project since 2014. There are four more sashing strips left to piece and then this project will be ready to be assembled into a flimsy.

Which means I'll need a new leaders and enders project soon. I've got some thoughts on what that project might be. Midnight Mystery still needs to be bound and Allietare is coming back from the quilter's next week. If I'd get busy on that front, I can probably add a couple of finishes before the end of June. Which would be a great way to mark the half way point of the year.
