Sunday already? Saturday went fast this weekend, probably because I spent yesterday morning on stuff for work, then the rest of the day on stuff related to Kiddo's school. Not much sewing going on so far, I hope to remedy that this afternoon, but that won't help today's stash report.
Used this week: 0.59 yards
Added this week: 0 yards
Used year to date: 43.09 yards
Added year to date: 60.25 yards
Net stashed for 2011: 17.16 yards
I finished the Flurry top on Friday. Today I hope to piece the back. That should remove about 4 yards from my stash, which will be big help in moving back into stash busting range. I still need to make the binding for the Buck-a-Block quilt, which will help some too as it's such a large quilt. That probably won't move up the to do list until next weekend.
A week from today will be the one year anniversary of Life in Pieces. I hope you'll come back next week and help me celebrate.
Enjoy your Sunday. There are many more stash busters who need your support this week over at Patchwork Times.
Sounds like we have the same plans for this afternoon - sew, sew, sew!! Good Luck and happy sewing
ReplyDeleteI spent all Sunday sleeping off some sort of bug so no sewing got done here at all !
ReplyDeleteWay to go on finishing Flurry - that was on my plans for yesterday but didnt eventuate.
Cant wait for your blogiversary next week. I'll be here wearing a party hat and throwing streamers!
We were doing the back to school thing last week too. Evey year one teacher asks for some obscure supply. This year it was green and purple ink pens.
ReplyDeleteYay for finishing the Flurry top. I still haven't touched the backing.
ReplyDeleteI'll be a little more subdued than Shay, but can't wait for your blogiversary next week. Congrats in advance!
I finally got my stash net used under the -20 yards. Whoo hoo. I do need to order some more but am putting it off until I get to the 0....hopefully.
ReplyDeleteHope you get to all you want to do this week!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your upcoming blogiversary!
ReplyDeleteYou're closing the negative gap! That 4 yards used that you plan to report next week will get you closer yet. Sandi
