Making Progress

We've mostly survived time change, though we forgot to reset the alarm clock in the bedroom before we went to bed and My Guy got up a bit earlier then he needed to Sunday morning.  I spent a solid afternoon in the sewing room for the first time in months. My sewing mojo isn't completely back on track, but it's slowly improving.

Maybe part of my motivation to get into the sewing room was to finish the borders on Macaron Mystery.

Macaron Mystery: 2021 Meadow Mist Designs mystery quilt along

A red, white and black quilt has been on my want to make list for a while. I'm really happy with how this one turned out.  Now to search the stash for something to back it with.

Good progress was also made on this year's Meadow Mist Designs Mystery, Melodic Mystery

The September clue is finished.  The dark maroon is my background fabric for this project. October's clue is in progress and I started November's clue.  I should be all caught up by the time December's clue is posted.

My goal for the year was progress and though there isn't as much as I would have liked, projects have been moving along. Linking up with Monday Design Wall and with Patchwork and Quilts.

  2. "Moving along" - that has been my goal with the applique UFO quilt I've been working on this month. Just keep moving along. Macaron is beautiful.

  3. Macaroni Mystery is beautiful, Kate! I really like those borders the way you did them. It's always a great feeling to get a quilt to the *finished quilt top* stage!

  7. Wow, well done on finishing the Macaron's top, it's gorgeous. These colors are on my quilt wish list too, and I love your use of greys. Great progress on the new mystery, and I'm glad that you enjoy more and more spending time in your sewing room.
Thank you for sharing this pretty flimsy, and linking up!
