Stitching Stuff: Week 26 of 2021

I can honestly say it hasn't been a bad week.  There's still lots going on at work, but the worst of it is done.  I'm hoping by the end of this week, that part of my life is mostly back to normal.  Since I was home on time most nights this week, I actually worked in some stitching time each day.

  • 15 minute days/week = 7/7 days
  • 15 minute days/June = 23/26 days
  • 15 minute days/2021 = 151/177
  • Success rate = 85.31%
A few more weeks like this and I'll get my success rate moving in the right direction, hopefully for the rest of the year.

Last week I shared photos of the Black Eyed Susans that are blooming in abundance right now.  Apparently the birds really like them too.

How did you do this week at hiding from the heat and getting in a few stitches at the same time?

  3. I love the black-eyed susans. I planted some this year, and they’re coming up in a whiskey barrel at the front door. Don’t see any buds on mine yet, but I’m watching them. Glad your week went a little easier.

  4. I am glad your work is settling down so you can have more time for stitching. What a gorgeous photo of the birds! I planted some black eyed susans this year, but they haven't blossomed yet.

  6. Well you did alot better than me--I usually average 30-40 hours a week with needle and thread-this week was only 15--yep 15 hours--the last 4 days all I did was a bit of counted cross stitching early mornings--late afternoon and evening was all knitting--but hopefully--tomorrow I will be back in the saddle and up to my old routine--!!! I have just 3 days to get my OMG done for June--ouch!!!
    luv, di

  8. Love the spoggies (that's slag for sparrows) we don't see them so much any more another feral species called Noisy Minors kill off all the smaller birds in most of our suburbs. I know sparrow are also feral but they are pretty harmless. Glad the work front is looking better.
