To Do List for 6/2/2020

It's June. Already?  I'm definitely not ready for it to be mid year.  Rather than think about how much there is to do to meet my 2020 goals, I'm going to just focus on what might get done during the next week.  Before that, I should celebrate what gone done last week.

Weekly To Do List for 05/26/2020
Frolic: Assemble dark blue row, lt. blue block - Progress
Unity:  Finish step 2, start step 3
Storm at Sea:  Add next white border - Progress

It was a good week with one big to do checked off and progress on the other two.  So what needs to be on this week's to do list to improve my finish 'em up rate?

Weekly To Do List for 06/02/2020

Storm at Sea: Add 3" white border

The border strips have been cut from yardage, but aren't yet stitched together so I can cut the border strips to size.

Frolic: Sew rows together, finish last block

2019 Bonnie Hunter Mystery Quilt

Just need that last block and a few more sashing strips to finish off the quilt center.  After trimming up, it will still need a border, so not a quick finish. But it's definitely moving along.

Unity: Work on step 3

Unity, 2020 Bonnie Hunter Sew-In-Place Quilt Along

Lots of tiny pieces in step 3, but some of those tiny pieces are all already assembled into a small pile of flying geese.  I'm hoping step 3 doesn't take me as long as step 2 did.

That's my to do list for the next week.  I'll probably sneak a few face masks in there as well.  I'm making them for some of my coworkers who are struggling with the face masks available at work.  Linking up with Home Sewn by Us for To Do Tuesday

  1. Hi Kate! Progress made is a great thing. Very little of that was going on over here but that's okay, too. Storm at Sea is really coming along - is this the last border you need to add? Frolic is also really coming along, too - both of them are such big pieces. You'll be so accomplished with those off your plate. Thanks for linking up this week. ~smile~ Roseanne

  3. Setting a goal for a week has been doable for me - any more than that and I can't seem to plan out that far! You're definitely making progress on things - all three of the projects you mentioned having been moving forward.

  5. HI Kate. It would seem we are both to work on borders this week which is not a favorite thing of mine. They always take longer than expected.

Frolic is getting so so close!
